Help Your Parents
Stay Home Safely
and Independently

Falls are the #1 cause of injury in adults over 65 — and most happen at home. We go far beyond grab bars. In partnership with Caia — a senior safety technology company — we bring radar-based AI fall detection, DMF high-CRI lighting, and path lighting that guides your loved one safely from bedroom to bathroom at night. No pendant. No camera. No invasion of dignity. Just a home that protects the people you love.

🏠 Common Home Hazards We Fix

🚿
Slippery Showers & Tubs The most common fall location. Grab bars, non-slip surfaces, and walk-in conversions eliminate this risk.
🪜
Steps & Threshold Lips Even a small lip or step is a tripping hazard. We remove, ramp, or highlight them.
🚽
Low Toilets & Fixtures Raised toilet seats and grab bars at the toilet make an enormous difference in daily safety.
💡
Poor Lighting Nighttime trips to the bathroom are high-risk. Motion-activated lighting is an easy fix.
🚪
Narrow Doorways Walker or wheelchair access requires 36"+ clear. We widen doorways to ADA standards.

The Conversation
Nobody Wants to Have —
Until After the Fall

Most families don't think about home safety modifications until something happens. A fall. A close call. A visit where you noticed the bathroom looked dangerous but didn't say anything.

We help families get ahead of it — quietly, affordably, and without making your parent feel like they're losing their independence. Most of our modifications are nearly invisible. The grab bar looks like a design feature. The non-slip flooring looks like a renovation.

The average cost of a fall-related hospitalization is over $30,000. A professional in-home safety assessment costs nothing. The conversation is free. The math is not complicated.

Peace of Mind

Walk through with us when we're done. Everything is solid, tested, and guaranteed.

Whether You're the Parent
or the Adult Child

These conversations can be tricky. We've had them many times, and we approach them with patience, respect, and zero judgment.

If You're the Homeowner

You want to stay in your home. We get it — and we're here to help you do exactly that, as safely as possible, for as long as possible. Our modifications are designed to be discreet and to preserve your sense of independence, not diminish it.

If You're an Adult Child

You're worried, and you're probably trying to figure out how to bring it up without starting a fight. We can help you frame it right, and if it helps, we can be the ones to walk through the home and make the recommendations — so it doesn't have to come from you.

If You're Planning Ahead

You're smart. Making these modifications before they're urgently needed — when everyone's calm and there's no crisis driving the decision — leads to better outcomes and much less stress. Call us now, not after something happens.

What Families
Ask Us Most

When installed correctly, grab bars are anchored into wall studs and can support 250+ pounds. We always locate studs before drilling and use the correct hardware for each wall type, including tile. Done right, they're permanent fixtures — not a patch job.
This is the most common thing adult children tell us. A few approaches that work: frame it as something you're doing for your own peace of mind, not because of their ability. Or let us come out for a "general home checkup" — we can walk the home, make recommendations, and often the conversation flows more naturally when it's not just you saying it. We're used to navigating this with sensitivity.
Original Medicare generally does not cover home modifications. Some Medicare Advantage plans do include a home safety benefit — it's worth calling the plan to ask. Florida Medicaid has limited programs for qualifying low-income seniors. Some VA programs cover modifications for veterans. We can give you a detailed invoice to submit for reimbursement attempts, and some modifications may be tax-deductible as medical expenses — consult your tax professional.
Most essential safety packages — grab bars, lighting, threshold work — are done in half a day. A full bathroom safety package including a walk-in shower conversion runs 1–3 days. Whole-home modifications are typically 3–5 days. We work efficiently and cleanly, and we won't leave a job half-done.
Yes, and we're used to it. We work respectfully, keep noise to a minimum, communicate clearly about what we're doing and why, and make sure the homeowner is comfortable throughout. Many of our senior clients enjoy watching the work and asking questions — we welcome it.
